What activities does Discover Experience offer?

Discover Experience provides tourism services, specialized in Stargazing with or without a telescope, all our team is made up of expert astronomical Guides and Starlight Guides duly accredited by the Starlight Foundation. In addition, our Starlight Guides have more than 20 years of experience, providing visiting services in the facilities of the Teide Observatory (IAC – Astrophysical Institute of the Canary Islands).

We are specialists in the management of telescopes, having the best equipment material that can be offered in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

When are Discover Experience activities carried out?

You can see the fixed schedule of activities on our website, although if you have a group or a special event and want a specific day we can reserve it for you as long as the agenda allows it.

How can I book an activity with Discover Experience?

You can book on our website, alone or for several people, even if you wish and have a group it can be closed exclusively on a specific day. You simply have to select «Activities» in the main menu of our Website and choose the activity you want to contract. Within the activity you can consult more information about it.

Please, if you make payment by card, make sure the card accepts refunds.

By writing us an e-mail to info@discoverexperience.com via phone or WhatsApp at +34 683 529 350 you can reserve your activity by making payment by bank transfer.

IMPORTANT: Payment for the activity can be made directly online or by bank transfer (in the latter case always with prior registration via telephone) to bank account number ES55 2100 6733 8302 0004 6805 CaixaBank, account holder Alpha Cygni, S.L (Discover Experience is a brand owned by Alpha Cygni Sociedad Limitada).

Prices

Regular activities: 35 € in adults and 25 € in children from 4 to 12 years old.

Tours privados: 200 € en privado para dos personas, 250 € en privado hasta 5 personas. En ambos privados, cada persona adicional conllevará un cargo de 45 € por persona (niños hasta 11 años 30 €).

Gift voucher: 35 €.

Jacket rental: 2.50 €/jacket.

Do the activities have transportation?

Our activities lack transportation. Quotes will only be offered for groups. We do not assume any responsibility when traveling to our activities, such as accidents, delays or breakdowns of vehicles, rental vehicles, taxis or buses.

What clothes to wear to activities?

Our activities take place in the Teide National Park, so we always recommend staying warm. We have jackets, this service has a cost that is specified in the information for each activity.

What security measures are taken in the activities?

Discover Experience takes all the necessary security measures when designing and carrying out each activity. To achieve this, these are carried out by trained, insured and accredited professionals. We have Civil Liability and Accident Insurance that covers our professional work. We are up to date on Occupational Risks.

Is it important to be punctual?

It is very important to be punctual to activities mainly out of respect for the rest of the attendees. Once the activity begins at the scheduled time, there will be no monitor waiting in the meeting areas, so the customer will not be able to claim a return or refund.

What happens if there is bad weather or some major eventuality?

Discover Experience reserves the right to suspend, cancel or postpone any of the scheduled activities, due to meteorological, logistical or force majeure issues, such as Pre-alerts or Alerts due to meteorological phenomena of the Government of the Canary Islands (wind, rain, snowfall, low temperatures, haze...), above all the safety of our clients and workers takes precedence. In these cases, an alternative date will be offered and if this is not possible for both the company and the client, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.

What happens if I cannot attend or cancel the activity?

You will not have any type of penalty if you cancel more than 2 days before departure and if you cancel the activity within the following periods, you will be subject to these conditions:

For individuals (No Groups or events):

In the last 48 hours, only 50% of the amount paid is returned. In the last 24 hours the amount paid is not returned.

For Groups or events.

For groups or events in which a special date has been scheduled, if canceled a week before, only 75% of the amount paid is refunded. In the last 48 hours, only 25% of the amount paid is returned. In the last 24 hours the amount paid is not returned.

Basic rules of conduct

For the safety of all participants, the instructions given by the guides responsible for the activity must be followed at all times. Failure to comply with these by any participant may be grounds for expulsion from the activity, without having to make any refund.

Smoking will not be allowed during the activity. On the other hand, the use of cameras or any light that may interfere with the proper development of the activity will not be permitted either.

Registration in any of our activities implies that these rules have been read and understood by the client, accepting them.
