In our regular activities on Mondays and Wednesdays (€35), we adapt the observation according to the phase of our satellite. It's not that one night is better than another, they are simply different shows:
Dark Sky Nights (Deep Sky) When there is a New Moon or very low illumination, Mount Teide becomes one of the best locations for observing and studying the universe.
- The experience: We focus on Deep Sky observation. We will observe star-forming nebulae, planets (when visible), globular clusters, and galaxies located millions of light-years away. It is the ideal night to truly feel the vastness of the cosmos.
High Moon Nights (Light and Detail)
When the Moon is in a high illumination phase, its light "turns off" the most distant galaxies, stars or nebulae, but it gives us a unique geological spectacle.
- The experience: You will see the craters, seas and lunar mountain ranges with astonishing clarity through our telescopes. In addition, depending on the night chosen, it will be complemented with the best visible astronomical objects, such as planets or clusters. It is the perfect night for lovers of mobile photography and for those who want to see "another world" up close.
Stargazing from Mount Teide
Enjoy a professional stargazing experience in the Teide National Park. Stargazing with Moon from Mount Teide

- Laser Observation: We use certified laser pointers to teach you how to identify the constellations with the naked eye, just as ancient navigators did.

- Small Groups (Mondays and Wednesdays): A shared yet intimate experience for only 35 € for adults and 25 € for children aged 4 to 12.

3. What does your reservation with Discover Experience include?
Our 1 hour and 20 minute activity is divided into two perfectly balanced parts:
- Sky Interpretation: Identification of major stars, orientation, and mythology under the open sky.
- Telescope Observation: Dynamic turns at the telescope to observe the best objects visible that night (planets, double stars, nebulae, galaxies, or clusters).
- Live astrophotography:
We know that the human eye has its limits, especially when observing objects located millions of light-years away. That is why, at Discover Experience, we complement visual observation with smart real-time astrophotography.
We use a smart telescope, but... How does it work? You will first observe the object through our high-end telescopes to connect with the real light of the astronomical object. Next, we captured that same region of the sky with our astrophotographic telescope.
In just 20 seconds, you will see the processed image appear on the screen in its natural colors, revealing details of nebulae and galaxies that the human eye cannot capture on its own. It is the "wow moment" of the night: the perfect combination of classic observation and the technology of the future.
- Important note: Please remember that Mount Teide is over 2,000 meters (6,500 feet) above sea level. Even in summer, temperatures drop significantly at night. Please bring warm clothing to enjoy the experience in comfort!
